About the company
Our client is a seed-stage company building an AI platform for financial institutions. It helps investment and risk teams organize and analyze their internal data alongside market information, and it is growing its core engineering team.
This is a full-time role based in San Francisco.
What you will do
- Design, build, and deploy machine learning models that analyze complex financial datasets.
- Integrate AI capabilities into the platform for use cases such as investment research and risk analysis.
- Optimize models for performance and scale in real-time decision support.
- Work with financial domain experts to turn business needs into technical AI requirements.
- Build robust pipelines for structured and unstructured financial data.
- Own AI features across the lifecycle, from research to production.
What we're looking for
- Experience developing and deploying AI/ML models in production.
- Proficiency in Python and frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Strong grounding in statistical modeling, ML algorithms, and data structures.
- Experience with large, complex datasets.
- Solid software engineering practices for deploying models.
Nice to have
- Experience with financial data, investment research, or risk.
- Experience building LLM-powered applications.
Compensation & benefits
Base salary of $150,000–$300,000, depending on experience. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
