Senior Analytics Engineer

About the company

Our client is a growing consumer business that treats data as a strategic asset. The data team is building the infrastructure and models that the whole company uses to make decisions, and this hire will shape how data is modeled, governed, and used at scale.

This is a fully remote, full-time role for candidates based in the United States.

What you will do

• Architect and own end-to-end data models and ELT pipelines that serve analytical and operational needs.
• Build and maintain modular, well-documented dbt projects.
• Design and tune models in a cloud data warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift) for performance and cost.
• Partner with analysts, data scientists, product managers, and business stakeholders to define metrics and deliver trusted data products.
• Set the standard for data quality, testing, documentation, and pipeline observability.

What we're looking for

• 5–8+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or data architecture.
• Advanced SQL and strong Python for transformation and pipeline work.
• Production experience building modern ELT pipelines with dbt.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Clear communication with non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with direct-to-consumer, consumer technology, or subscription businesses.
• Background in data governance and defining canonical metrics.
• Enjoys mentoring junior analytics engineers.

Compensation & benefits

Base salary of $162,000–$190,000 plus equity, with a sustainable pace of roughly 40 hours per week.
