What You Will Do

• Design, build, and maintain full stack features for an autonomous interviewing and candidate screening platform, focusing on both frontend and backend systems.
• Develop responsive, high-performance frontend experiences using React and TypeScript, translating designs from Figma into polished, production-ready interfaces.
• Construct and maintain robust backend APIs and services with Python and FastAPI to support real-time interview orchestration and candidate data pipelines.
• Utilize Vector Databases to enhance AI-driven candidate matching and semantic search capabilities.
• Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases, ensuring efficient schema design and query performance.
• Deploy and operate services on Azure using Kubernetes and Docker, contributing to a reliable and scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment, ensuring immediate and visible impact on product development.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 5–8 years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on both frontend and backend development.
• Proficient in React and TypeScript for building complex, data-driven user interfaces.
• Solid backend experience with Python, particularly in REST API development using frameworks like FastAPI.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and relational database design in production environments.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and containerization technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.

Preferred

• Experience with Vector Databases and their application in AI or search workflows.
• Comfortable working from Figma designs and iterating on UI/UX with minimal direction.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this role ranges from $150,000 to $250,000, depending on experience and scope. Additionally, there is an opportunity for equity participation in a high-growth AI company, along with the chance to make a direct impact on a product that is redefining how organizations hire at scale.
